Okay...I'm not Irish, but I still like to celebrate a holiday that involves pinching! We enjoyed cinnamon rolls with green icing this morning.
It also happened to be "DAY ONE" of Spring Break. We had planned on going to Freestone park to ride the train, carousel, etc.. Unfortunately, I had to make an appointment with the vet instead. Josie has been "tossing her cookies" about once a week, and this morning she had unpleasantness coming from the opposite end. I have been reading about the pet food recalls, and Josie's food happened to be listed. Eventually I decided that going to the vet with all the kids and the dog would be mass chaos. Instead we went to Petco, and picked out a new food~Natural Balance allergy formula. Hopefully, she'll do better on this food. Hubby's at his "wit's end" with the dog barf, and I must admit that it's starting to drive me nuts too.
I felt bad that the kiddos didn't have an "activity", so being the resourceful mother that I am, we stopped by McDonald's for lunch. The kids had a good time playing, and I delighted in my HUGE Diet Coke.
