The Suns game

We had the opportunity to go to the Phoenix Suns game a couple weeks ago for FHE. We had to leave Baby B with Jody, because we just didn't think she'd make it through the whole game. It was nice to spend some time with the "BIG Kids" without worrying about B. We stopped and loaded up with candy and gas at the QT, and were on our way. While on our journey, Conman asked numerous times, " Are we there yet?" This was just proof positive that he was totally excited about the game. We finally arrived in Phoenix, and parked. We parked a couple blocks away, so our parking was free. Yay! Hubby was told at the door that he couldn't bring in his snacks, just his water. He was very dissappointed. I had snacks in my purse, but I kept quiet about those.

We got in and headed straight UP, UP, UP to our seats. Now normally, when we attend events at the stadium, we are sitting in the lower bowl. This is the first time we were up high. But hey, the tickets were free, I can't complain. I could tell that our little man was getting more nervous as we climbed higher and higher. When we reached our seats, he was a wreck. He quickly scooted to his seat and sat down fast, being sure to grab the armrests tight. He didn't let go of those armrests for the rest of the night. Poor little guy. I felt so bad for him. I didn't realize that the whole height thing would scare him so much. Tears streamed silently down him cheeks, as he tried to enjoy the game. I just kept trying to distract him with the licorice I had brought. It was a good game and we won. In the end, I think if you were to ask C-man if he had a good time, he would say yes... I hope.
