Easter

Our Easter weekend was great! The kids list Easter as one of their favorite holidays, and I think I did too when I was little. Growing up, we always celebrated the commercial side of Easter on Saturday. My parents wanted us to focus on the resurrection and Jesus on Sunday. Ryan and I have decided to adopt the same tradition.

The kids with their Easter Buckets...they were so excited, they got up at 6:30.







Had I known how beautiful the weather would be on Easter Sunday, I probably wouldn't have sent my kids out in THIS weather on "Easter Saturday"







Each of the kids were assigned a different color of egg. This worked out great at home, however at the BIG egg-hunt "B" refused to pick up any eggs that weren't green.


We attended the community egg-hunt in the rain on Saturday. It was cold and wet, but the weather did not dampen the kids spirits.

It was so nice to have my mom here for the holiday!
