Conner's 9th birthday

Conner's 9th birthday was today. How can he be that old already? The time has flown by. We celebrated with a friend party yesterday. He invited a few of his closest friends to a "Movie Party". Easy for me, I just had to organize the "present opening", and "cake eating". Ryan had a tougher time shuttling to and attending a movie with a few crazy boys, but he said they had a great time. They saw "Night at The Museum II", and then came home for presents and cake.

Today we did a little family party before church. The traditional cake for breakfast, and then more present opening. Conner was excited about everything he got, and gave hugs all around. He decided on artichokes and Gemelli pasta with white sauce for dinner. After dinner he made sure to tell me that it was "his best birthday this year". What a funny guy! We're so glad to have Conner as part of our family!
